Description:

Over the past two decades Zac has worked directly with more than 150 athletic organizations to help them drive attendance to their events, increase fundraising efforts and improve the game experience for their fans. With clients ranging from the University of North Carolina to the Oklahoma City Thunder, he has a unique perspective on what works – and why.

In 2018 Zac published Winning is Not a Strategy – A Game-Changing Approach to Driving Attendance. This was his second book and it combats the idea that simply winning games is the magic bullet for increasing attendance at events. He also provides some real-world strategies for bringing fans back to stadiums and arenas without depending on the quality of play.

In addition to being an author he is the founder/CEO of Old Hat (his marketing firm). Zac spends time as a speaker as well. He offers motivational speeches designed to inspire coaches, administrators and athletes as well as informative speeches based on data gathered through fan and industry research.
