Description: Leonardo Da Vinci (1452 - 1519) was a scientist and inventor whose extraordinary ideas and breadth of imagination were centuries ahead of their time. In his spare time, he did some pretty good paintings too. The quintessential Renaissance Man, Leonardo's approach to life and learning is only extraordinary for the heights he reached. But his tendency to branch out and apply himself to new disciplines was profoundly human. In our age of ultra-specialisation, there's a lot we can learn from Leonardo, to unleash the polymath within us.
