The teenage phenomenon and peer culture has captured the
modern world. The thing was born on October 12, 1944 — now almost
80 years ago. Only the 98 year old men and women would
have been there to commemorate this revolution. For 5,944 years of
world history, there was no peer orientation and peer pressure as
what kids face today. Here, we bring a biblical comparison between
fearing God (and honoring parents) and fearing peers. The destructive
consequences of this social revolution are everywhere now. But, how
do we pick the pieces and rebuild a healthy family and church culture
today? This program offers a start to the
conversation.
