The number of witches in the US increased from 8,000 in 1990 to
340,000 in 2008, and exceeding 1.5 million in 2020. Halloween
expenditures in the US have doubled since 2007, and the horror genre
in the movie theater has almost tripled in marketshare in 10 years.
There are three worldviews that collide in these films — The
Sovereignty of God, the Sovereignty of Man, and the Sovereignty of
Evil. The fear of God, the fear of man, and the fear of
evil. . . .Guess who loses in the movie theater? We proclaim
the true Gospel. Christ really did crush the head of the
serpent! Death took the death blow at the cross and by His
resurrection! God will judge evil, and God is to be feared. And
Christians do not celebrate Halloween, and the Day of the Dead.
