	Description:		While shots were firing, children were calling 911, and parents were in utter distress, the 79 minutes passed like a horror movie at the Uvalde, Texas primary school last week. While not wanting to Monday-morning quarterback the police activities, we do wish to address the fundamental disposition of a post-Christian society towards risk. The constant concern for “safe places” portends a society averse to risk. But, safe is not the highest value. Righteousness, liberty, and giving up your life for others is a higher value than “safe.” The Church is not a safe place, but He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies!
