	Description:		Dr. Beverly Rubik is an internationally renowned biophysicist investigating the role of consciousness in the physical world and complementary and alternative medicine, particularly the role of the human biofield. She is currently the founder of the Institute of Frontier Science, a nonprofit research laboratory in Emeryville California. Between 1988 and 1995, she was the Director of the Center for Frontier Sciences at Temple University and was a Congressionally appointed member of the National Institutes of Health advisory board for the Office of Alternative Medicine. Through her research the term "biofield" was accepted into the National Library of Medicine. Dr. Rubik serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine and the Journal of Vortex Science and technology. She holds a doctorate in biophysics from the University of California at Berkeley and is an adjunct faculty member of the California institute for Human Science, Saybrook University and the Energy Medicine University. Her present research is to investigate the effects of electromagnetic frequencies from wireless technology on human biology and the development of novel sensors for measuring Qi.
