He joins Ben Domenech on Federalist Radio to discuss some of his latest research on lifespan, longevity, the status of our workforce, and what to know about North and South Korea. "Usually when people are talking about inequality they are talking about wealth or income. There are two important aspects of the human condition... one of these is length of life and the other is the amount of schooling," Eberstadt said. "Both of these are important to their well being...and yet these two aspects of our condition are almost never examined." Where have all the men in the labor force disappeared to? "There are about 7 million civilian, non-institutional men between the ages of 25 and 54 who are neither working or looking for work."
