Currently, there are a lot of bands with females front and center. More than ever before, it would seem. Who were the pioneers? Janis Joplin pops to mind. No band is more important to female music than The Bangles, of course. "Be With You" changed my life. Ha! We'll let a whiff of testosterone in, but not much.
