July 16 | The Telegraph Cycling Podcast survived the torrential rain and hailstorm at Plateau de Beille in the Pyrenees to discuss a second stage victory for the Spanish rider Joaquim Rodriguez.

Richard Moore and Lionel Birnie were without Daniel Friebe, who headed off to witness the reaction to Lance Armstrong riding the route of stage 13 with Geoff Thomas’s cancer charity.

After discussing the stage, Richard and Lionel are joined by journalist François Thomazeau to gauge the French reaction to Chris Froome’s Tour so far.

We also hear from MTN-Qhubeka’s Brian Smith, Wednesday’s stage winner Rafal Majka and his Tinkoff-Saxo team-mate Michael Rogers. And there’s a brief chat with Armstrong too.
