My guest on Life in the Peloton this week is one of the most experience riders in the women's peloton, Hannah Barnes.

After turning pro with United Healthcare in 2014, Hannah has ridden for Canyon-SRAM for the past six seasons and is set to move on to the new Uno-X team next year. In 2015 she won a stage of the Women's Tour in 2015. She's also a Giro stage winner and has finished top six in both Gent-Wevelgem and Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

It was great to speak to Hannah about her career, life in the women's peloton and the ups and downs of being a pro rider. I hope you enjoy listening.

Theme music
The theme music for Life in the Peloton was composed by Pete Shelley, who was lead singer of the punk band Buzzcocks. It was commissioned by the production company behind Channel 4’s coverage of the Tour de France in the 1980s and was used as the theme music for the nightly highlights show. Pete died in December 2018. We were given permission by Pete’s widow and his manager to continue using the music for the theme tune to Life in the Peloton.
