The last two weeks on The Christian Worldview, we have dived into an important and oft-debated question: How and when did the universe begin?
We discussed four prominent positions:
Young Earth Creationism: that God created everything in six, 24-hour days about 6000 years ago.
Old Earth Evolution: that nothing became something and evolved into everything over millions and billions of years.
Evolutionary Creationism (a.k.a. Theistic Evolution): that God used evolution over millions of years, with humans having common ancestry with animals.
Gap and Day Age Creationism: that God created everything over thousands or millions of years. |
