	Description:		The new BMW iX electric Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) will have two model variants: the BMW iX xDrive50 and BMW iX xDrive40. In the BMW iX xDrive50, the drive system produces total output of over 370 kW/500 hp and enables acceleration of 0 to 62 mph in under 5.0 seconds. The BMW iX xDrive50 has a range in excess of 373 miles in the WLTP test cycle. And the WLTP-calculated range of the BMW iX xDrive40 is more than 249 miles. Set to arrive on our shores in early 2022, the iX xDrive50 model will start at around $85,000 and will be available for pre-ordering starting this June. The BMW iX xDrive40 will start at 77,300 EUR ($93,200). To compare, the Tesla Model X seven seater long-range (360miles) costs $93,490.
