The ID.4 GTX is the first model based on the modular electric drive matrix (MEB) to feature dual-motor all-wheel drive and also offers attractive, high-quality design elements. But it's glossy looks is the only thing noteworthy about it. Volkswagen failed to mention it's range ( a clear red flag for a possible sub 250mile range), while also touting it's sub-par acceleration, top speed, and high price tag. To compare, the similar Tesla Model Y is cheaper, includes more range, horsepower, acceleration, and top speed. So this begs the question, who is the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX for exactly?
