	Description:		BYD ("Build Your Dreams") is a Chinese manufacturing company headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong. It has two major subsidiaries, BYD Automobile and BYD Electronic. BYD has grown to become a major manufacturer of automobiles (most notably full-electric and hybrid cars, buses, trucks, etc.), battery-powered bicycles, forklift, solar panels and rechargeable batteries ( mobile phone batteries, electric vehicle batteries and renewable bulk storage). The manufacturer’s sales of electric cars and plug-in hybrids amounted to 54,751 vehicles in Q1 2021 (+147%), of which 38,599 were purely electric cars (+113%). In total, BYD sold 104,145 vehicles in the first quarter. With it's massive diversification and increasing car sales, is BYD closing in on Tesla?
