HRN Taste of the Week

November 25, 2025

Welcome to… Taste of the Week!

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, gratitude is on the tip of our tongue!

This week at Heritage Radio Network, we invite you to feast on some of our finest shows and celebrate the milestones of the hosts who make our work possible.

Tune in and see what’s cooking at HRN—because the future of food always starts with a story.

Tip of the Tongue

300 Episodes of Flavor, Culture & Conversation

Tip of the Tongue
Tip of the Tongue is hosted by Liz Williams—author, journalist, lawyer (yes, all three!) and founder of the National Food & Beverage Foundation in New Orleans, home to the Southern Food & Beverage Museum, the Museum of the American Cocktail, and the SoFAB Research Center.

A proud New Orleanian with Sicilian and Louisiana French roots, Liz has written six books on food and culture, including Nana’s Creole Italian Table and The SoFAB Cookbook (shortlisted for the 2024 Gourmand International Cookbook Award). She also writes a regular column for the Times-Picayune/Advocate and serves as Food Editor for Louisiana Life magazine.

Every week, Tip of the Tongue explores food, drink, and the cultural stories they carry through rich, lively conversations with voices from across the culinary world.

To mark the show’s 300th episode, Liz welcomes Tamar Adler: chef, journalist, and James Beard Award–winning author of An Everlasting Meal.

Her latest book, Feast on Your Life: Kitchen Meditations for Every Day, gathers her daily reflections on awe, gratitude, and the small, sacred moments found in and around the kitchen.

A perfect reminder for the holiday weekend: pour yourself a glass and settle into a milestone conversation about the flavors that stand the test of time.
