Cereno explains how he weaves the Benandanti’s blend of folk-Christian belief and spiritual warfare into Hector’s modern-day adventures as a ghost hunter and witch fighter, and we discuss why this genuine, historically recorded mythology lends this work, and others, an authentic resonance.
