	Description:		When I began this podcast, I had two goals in mind: to educate on transgender topics and to tell personal stories of life experiences. This episode is one such story: my own. In the second of a three part series, I continue the story of my gender confirmation surgery. When I was on the cusp of traveling around the world for surgery, there were a number of items I had to get in order. The world I was leaving behind for three weeks wasn't going to stop without me. When the day finally came to leave, there was nothing but excitement. I had never traveled outside of the country, so this was going to be a journey of many firsts. But it wasn't smooth sailing all the way. Fortunately, my mom and I reached our destination and began the wait from my fast approaching surgery day. When I met with the surgeon, he asked me one question, one statement that would seal my fate forever. On January 29, 2014, my life would change forever. Trigger warning: None.
