The spectrum of gender identity is vast. Some are more easily defined than others. In this episode of Trans*lation, we look at one specific identification group: bigender.
We look at how bigender is defined in the world, namely someone with two distinct and equally valid gender identities. While the visibility of bigender individuals is not as broad as other identities, there are some interesting stories in the media that highlight real stories. We also look at the question of distinguishing bigender from crossdressing. Both are valid, and they might have similarities, but there is a distinct difference that we explore in this episode.
