A few weeks back, I talked about retiring my entire collection of vintage leather Chanel bags (and all the other leather in my wardrobe) after learning about the horrors of the leather industry. After a lot of soul searching, weighing the idea of purchasing new items to replace what I would no longer be using (which is frankly very wasteful and not eco-friendly at all), I have come to a new, peaceful place in regard to the leather I own and what I plan to do with it. In this episode, I'm sharing my thoughts on how I'm balancing compassion with fashion and the steps I'm taking to ensure I don't add to the future demand of using animal skins for my wardrobe. |
