Episode 240: Sam Mack joins the podcast to discuss their work and writes: “the installations of my work form a grammar of materials that utilizes institutional signs of caution and control punctuated by trans and queer-signaling. interwoven references point toward a slippage of both material and language that exists between physical, academized, and a theoretical corporeal existence.” Sam was selected as one of Studio Breaks 2020 MFA student competition winners earlier in the year by our juror Tim Kowalczyk. Sam has work up through the end of the year at Galleri Urbane and will be participating in the Untitled Art Fair with Galleri Urbane Dec 2nd-6th.
