Episode 225: This week Leah Schretenthaler discusses her background and process of creating laser etched silver gelatin prints in her recent series entitled: The Invasive Series of the Built Environment. Her work explores the impact of manmade elements and alterations that diminish the sacred landscape of Hawaii where she’s from. Leah is currently completing her MFA at the University of Wisconsin (Milwaukee) and her work was selected as a winner for Studio Breaks 2019 MFA juried competition by Erika B. Hess of I Like Your Work Podcast.
