BACKGROUND: The 2015 project cigar for Tony Gomez of La Flor Dominicana is, “La Nox,” which is Latin for “The Night.” This night theme is evident in the dark-as-night wrapper leaf. La Nox features a coal black Brazilian Cubra Maduro wrapper, which covers a Mexican San Andrés binder and concludes with a filler blend consisting of Dominican Pelo de Oro and Dominican Piloto Cubano.

The packaging features a moon-shaped circular box with a crescent moon partially covered by dark blue clouds. The La Flor logo rides inside the crescent and the La Nox designation is prominently displayed. The bands reflect the same thematic artwork and the lid of the box is made secure with two strategically-placed magnets.
Pricing for these cigars set at $11 per stick and they ship in 10-count boxes.
This week’s featured stogie is the 6 ½” x 50 ring gauge La Nox Toro Extra.
