Barry Fitzgerald and Steve Mera went on a quest to Peru to try and find out the truth about the Nazca Mummies. It was a journey that lead them on a perilous journey high up into the Andes, being driven by total strangers over twisty roads, where nothing alive could be seen except a condor or two flying high above, and air so thin they suffered greatly from the effects of altitude sickness. Without speaking the language and stripped of their cell phones, they had no way of knowing what they were getting themselves into or what the outcome might be. Initially, some of what they were shown when they finally arrived at their desolate destination was what they might have expected, but nothing could have prepared them for Maria.
