Jeff Mudgett is the great, great grandson of Herman Webster Mudgett, Americas first serial killer who also went by the alias of Dr. H.H. Holmes. For most of his adult life, Jeff been on a quest to find out whether or not his ancestor was not only responsible for killing as many as 200 people in the late 19th century here in this country, but also the possibly that he was also the most notorious killer in London back then as well, Jack the Ripper. Jeff's book about his ancestor, Bloodlines, was the topic when he was first on my show back in 2012 and much has transpired in his search for the truth since then. In recent weeks, The History Channel's show, American Ripper, has afforded him many more avenues to research and explore and gives the viewers terrific insight into the mind of this notorious killer, his crimes and the possibility that he may also be the infamous London murderer.
