Doing a live show has its pitfalls and a guest having to cancel at the last minute is one of them. Most of the time, it's unavoidable, as was my scheduled guest for this week's reason for not being able to do the show. So what's a host to do? Some can happily chatter away and ad lib for an hour, others grab an encore show and throw that on, and then there are those who quickly look for a fill in and every so often, one does appear. Such was the case this week when I sent a fast message to Barbara Duncan, who was in the chat room, and asked if she wanted to join me for an impromptu show. And so she did, and here it is!
