Description: There’s a lot of new music coming out right now from NYC-based artists. One such artist is Parlor Walls, whose new full length album is being released by Northern Spy Records on March 10th, so we invited frontperson Alyse Lamb to talk about her musical history in a segment we call Take3, in which we listen to and discuss three songs she’s written over the course of her career. We also listen to some great new tracks off of new releases by Stuyedeyed, PEP, and the Duke Of Surl. In addition to all that, we also have music by Chain Wallet, Michael Nau, Light Therapy, and Libel. 00:00 - StereoactiveNYC / BTRtoday ID 00:19 - // Welcome // 01:19 - // Intro: Alyse Lamb / Take3 // 04:00 - “Maurice Narcisse” - EULA 06:07 - // Alyse Lamb / Take 3, pt1 // 14:54 - “Like No Other” - EULA 17:19 - // Alyse Lamb / Take 3, pt2 // 30:39 - “Cover Me” - Parlor Walls 33:14 - // Alyse Lamb / Take 3, pt3 // 43:44 - // Thanks to Alyse / More New Music // 44:33 - “Mr. Policeman” - Stuyedeyed 46:28 - “Get Physical” - PEP 50:45 - “Pep In My Step” - PEP 53:37 - “Look Who’s Talking Too” - The Duke Of Surl 57:21 - “Phone Dead” - The Duke Of Surl 61:00 - // Mic Break // 64:57 - “Muted Colours” - Chain Wallet 67:34 - “Good Moon” (BTR Live Studio, 2016) - Michael Nau 71:47 - // Mic Break // 73:55 - “JIM” - Light Therapy 82:06 - “Bygones” - Libel 85:04 - // Mic Break / Outro // 87:32 - “Like No Other” (demo) - EULA 90:32 - // Disclaimer // 90:55 - Finish.
