	Description:		Jack went to Calais for a month in 2015 and ended up staying for a year. He was central to the hugely ambitious shelter building project only to see it all bulldozed and burnt down. He's now Head of Community Development at our great friend and supporter Help Refugees creating a portal for refugees after they have arrived in the UK. As we talked about that life-changing journey, Jack received the fantastic news that the UK government had agreed to speed up the processing of asylum applications from Calais. This has been thanks to the unrelenting public pressure and from Help Refugees - we can make a difference. Speeding up the processing of asylum applications is the one thing that would have the biggest impact on reducing suffering.
