Ahead of Edith's next episode, Nicholas Britell explains the thinking behind using a method associated with hip-hop on his classical score for the Oscar-winning Moonlight.
Chopped & Screwed developed in the Houston hip hop scene in the early 1990s. It involves slowing the tempo down of the original piece, skipping beats, record scratching and affecting portions of the music to make a "chopped-up" version.
