It’s no secret that Austin boasts some incredible local talent and at the front of this pack are intergalactic yacht-rockers Wonderbitch. The crew are famous around town for their kinetic, dance-til-you-drop live shows and none of this energy seems to be lost to the studio. Their full length debut, Oceansoft, dropped this month; it showcases the band’s tight blend of psychedelia, indie-rock and 80’s R&B.
“Run Ya” appears on Oceansoft and is a delightfully groovy throwback, thick with synths and hip swinging beats; you’ll be seeking out the nearest dance floor before the first verse is over. You can catch Wonderbitch at Mohawk on Friday, November 17 for their vinyl release show.
