Guided by Jessica, tonight's sleep hypnosis all about leaning into relaxation, as a practice, to fall asleep easier each night. If you’ve struggled with sleep for a long time, it can become a big issue in your life. Something so simple, and so natural, becomes complicated. But at the end of the day (pun intended), our lives break down into a binary code: are you relaxing or tensing up? First, we'll start with some relaxing insight from Jessica (0:00-06:03) Before tonights Sleep Hypnosis (06:03-41:44) As we’ve discussed here before, we can’t aim at sleep like we can aim at other goals, like finishing a project, or cooking a meal. There is no end point to imagine… In fact, with sleep, the end point is the absence of thinking, so how can you really think about it? Our workaround for this dilemma is relaxation. You can practice relaxation. You can imagine relaxation. You can invite relaxation… and relaxation lives right next door to sleep.
