Anxiety is a familiar companion for most of us, so tonight we’re going breathe slowly and consciously as we meditate so that we can release anxiety and feel safe and calm, right here and now.

Anxiety often spikes when we’re feeling unsafe or unsupported in some way. It sometimes becomes a chronic feeling though, one that keeps us up at night. It could be any number of things that trigger it - worry over health, finances, time, relationships, work, your loved ones, decisions you need to make...you name it. The good news is that your breath is like a magical key to help turn the anxiety down a few notches. The breath is our most powerful ally, because when the breath slows down, the body can begin to feel safe.
