In tonight's guided Sleep Meditation with Karissa, we will focus on us consciously slowing down and letting go together. Clinging to sleep can push it away, and yet surrendering to what is can actually invite it in. We're going to let go, let go (and let go some more!) of anything that we may be holding onto too tightly. Let yourself get comfortable, feel supported, and open to the sweet rest that wants to flow in, as we meditate together.

Letting go of what drains us is a practice that takes discipline. Deciding what drains you and what makes you stronger is a personal question but a very important one to ask oneself. Simply asking if this thought or this behaviour or this circumstance is adding to or detracting from my store of energy can be enough to begin the process of discernment; that is the process of knowing what nourishes me versus what drains me. If we can practice letting go of what doesn’t make us stronger, we will find a store of energy that we didn’t even realize was available to us.
