She has performed and taught in schools, performance halls, colleges, and on radio & TV across North America. Athena is originally from Toronto, but is currently based out of New York City. Athena’s newest video, LOVE IS LOVE, has charted on the top 10 for the past couple of months on MTV’s LOGO and peaked at #1. Her 5TH CD, LITTLE GIRL DREAMS, received 5 Outmusic Award nominations and LOVE IS LOVE won for Best Outstanding Pop Song of the Year in 2009. LITTLE GIRL DREAMS was by produced by the Emmy/Grammy Winning Cynthia Daniels (Melissa Etheridge, Dave Mathews Band, “Producers” on Broadway, etc.) and LOVE IS LOVE was co-written with the multi-platinum songwriter Lorraine Ferro.
