Sights & Sounds is your weekly guide to the Bay Area arts scene. Theater artist Sarita Ocón told KALW’s Jen Chien about three fantastic arts events happening around the Bay this week, including a new play at SF State, a short film at 518 Valencia, and a futuristic arts festival in Oakland.
Sarita is the founding producer of Las Hociconas Arts Residency and Lab. The artists-in-residence will be showcasing and celebrating their work at Studio Grand in Oakland on 3/8 and 3/9.
