GANG, it’s official! The New York City Marathon is a go which means that we can all breathe a little easier knowing those fall marathons are actually happening! (KNOCK ON WOOD.)

THAT BEING SAID, we all need to get vaccinated if you haven’t already! Keep encouraging everyone you know to get vaccinated!

So what now!? You’re registered. You’re ready. Where do you begin?

WITH THE BADASS LADY GANG AND I BY JOINING OUR 16-WEEK FALL MARATHON TRAINING EXPERIENCE!!!!

Running a marathon is REALLY, REALLY HARD. That’s a given. Trying to find the time to get all those runs, strength sessions, and cross-training in while working and living your life…it’s a huge commitment! And there’s so much to learn!

I’ve trained for marathons by myself and I’ve had the privilege of being a part of amazing training programs and want to know which ones were more fun? The training cycles where I had the support of a coach and a team! It’s a gamechanger.

Why?

Because running a marathon isn’t about race day. It’s all about the process.

16-weeks is a LONG TIME to devote to a goal and A LOT will happen over those four tough months. Having the support of a coach to help you adapt when training gets derailed, injuries flare up, or when those doubts and fears start to wear on you is everything. And having a team to commiserate with, turn to, and lean on when shit hits the fan or when you just can’t seem to get yourself out to run on those hot and humid summer days is a game-changer!

That’s why I decided to offer a Fall Marathon Training Experience. My training experiences are so much more than a training plan! They’re all about the process. During training, we break every single week down so that you understand what you’re doing, have the tools necessary to define why you’re doing it so that you can focus on having as much fun as humanly possible, and challenging what you think you’re capable of.

And one of the best parts about the program? ACCESS TO OUR STRENGTH TRAINING PORTAL AND GUIDED RUN PORTAL!!! When you run a marathon, it’s not a matter of if you’ll get hurt, but when. And thanks to Finish Line Physical Therapy, we have strength training videos made by some of the best physical therapists in the country to help you develop the mobility, flexibility, and stability necessary to stay injury-free during training.

And the guided run library? It’ll help you develop your mental game! From defining your why to working through pre-defined limits and doubts, every week, we’ll put new tools in your toolbelt to help unlock mental strength that will help you stay present, in control, and ready to kick ass and take names regardless of what curveball gets thrown your way.

It doesn’t matter if your marathon is in September or November, the plan may kick off on June 21st but every plan can be adjusted to fit your race date. Just email info@badassladygang.com after registering so that I can adjust your start date.

Registration to the fall marathon training experience includes:

  • A 16-week training plan in VDOT02 designed by Coach Kelly Roberts

  • 16-week access to the BALG portal to use our Strength Training videos by Finish Line Physical Therapy and guided runs to help you develop your mental game!

  • Access to our private marathon training experience group in our online community to connect, inspire, lean on, commiserate with, and talk all things marathon training.

  • An invitation to our weekly coaching zoom calls which will take place every Thursday at 4:00 pm ET/1:00 pm PT. (All coaching calls are recorded and shared both in our private group in the online community and to the guided run library.)

  • A BALG Team Tank Top & 2021 Team Buff

Can you train for your marathon solo? ABSOLUTELY.

But I guarantee that you’ll run stronger, feel more connected, and have more fun if you do it with the support of a team.
