Our very first Badass Lady Gang post COVID-19 IS HERE and taking place in New York City THIS WEEKEND!

You’re invited to join the BALG For a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, or to help us (WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!)

This post has everything you need to know about where and when to meet, where we’re running, what to expect, and where we’ll end up. Let’s dig in!

Know Before You Go:

  1. Masks are required. No exceptions.

  2. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST FILL OUT THIS DISCLAIMER/RISKS AGREEMENT in order to attend. CLICK HERE to fill out the form.

  3. This is not a normal BALG meetup. Normally, we keep all runs within a tight space so that everyone is within yelling distance from each other. This is a fun run which means that you may be running solo. Please familiarize yourself with the route & maps before Saturday. (For 5K, CLICK HERE. For 10K, CLICK HERE. For Half Marathon, CLICK HERE.)

  4. This is not a closed course which means you must watch out for cars, taxis, human beings, small children with balls and on scooters, dogs, and anything else that could jump in front of you on the wild and wacky streets of NYC.

  5. We will try to provide hydration along the course for the half marathoners at miles () and (). But be prepared to bring your own fluid.

  6. Each distance will have a designated run leader. For the half marathon, look for Coach Kelly. For the 10K, look for friend of the BALG and Queen of all things fun Jeanie. For the 5K, you’ll look for BALG NYC co-leader Kayla.

  7. All three distances (5K, 10K, and Half Marathon) will finish at the Granite Prospect in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

  8. We will have a photographer taking photos during the meetup @StefaniaCurto. All photos will be made available via email to those who RSVP.
