OPTION 2) JOIN THE BALG TRAINING TEAM (ALL 2021 TRAINING PROGRAMS & VIRTUAL RACE SERIES ARE FREE FOR TEAM MEMBERS)The way this training program works is that there are three levels of the exact same training program: Level 1 4-5 days of running, 1 -2 cross-training day(s), longest run of the training plan 120 minutes, 1-2 rest day(s), 2 strength training days Level 2 4-6 days of running (1-2 quality days), 1-2 cross-training day(s), 1-2 rest day(s), longest run 120-minutes, 2 strength training days Level 3 offers 5-6 days of running, 2 quality days, 1-2 cross-training day, 1 complete rest day, longest run 150 minutes, 2 strength training days (*Must be currently running 25-miles/40 km a week to participate in level 3) REGISTRATION FOR THE Spring Half Marathon TRAINING PROGRAM IS $175 AND INCLUDES:
 A 12-week training program designed by Coach Kelly Roberts to get you prepared to run your strongest half marathon yet! Access to our private spring half marathon training program group in our online community to connect, inspire, lean on, commiserate with, and talk all things training. An invitation to our weekly coaching zoom calls will be every Wednesday at 4:00 pm ET/1:00 pm PT. All zoom sessions are recorded and shared in our private training group in the online community.) FAQQ: Who is this program good for? A: Runners who are looking to find connection, support, accountability, and fun as they train for a half marathon. Q: I’ve never run a half marathon before. Can I join? A: YES! This program is perfect for first time half marathoners and new runners! Q: I have a pretty audacious time goal for my half marathon. Is this program good for me? A: YES! Our weekly coaching calls will help you build the mental strength necessary to step outside of your comfort zone and redefine what you think you’re capable of. Q: I can’t afford $175 for a training program. Do you offer scholarships? A: YES! CLICK HERE to apply for a scholarship! Q: I’m on the BALG Training Team. How do I join the program? A: All members of the BALG Training Team get complimentary access to this training program. Head to the 2021 private BALG Team Group in our online community to fill out the form to get registered. Q: I’m not running a real half marathon and I’m nervous about doing it virtually because I hate virtual races. Is this program a good fit for me? A: YES. Whether you’re registered to run a half marathon in person or not, this program is all about the training process and journey. Give it a shot. I have a feeling you’ll be pleasantly surprised at what you learn and discover over the 12-week training journey. Q: I registered but haven’t heard anything. When will I hear from you? A: All program participants will receive an email on February 2nd with all the information they need to get their program set up on VDOT and join the private group in our online community. Q: My half marathon is before/after this program’s May 1st race day. Should I still join? A: YES! Shoot us an email at info@badassladygang.com and we will adjust your training plan to reflect your race date. Though you may not be on the same training week as the group, you will absolutely benefit from having a team and access to coach Kelly to answer all of your training questions. *Training for a half marathon that falls before or after our May 1st virtual race date and still want to take part in the program?
