	Description:		Originally not believing in the fae, Kriket came to be reminded of one of her earliest lessons… that which you resist persists and also learned that which you mock will surely become a future teacher (and not always the most gentle)! This podcast covers the dark night celebration and her experiences with the fairy and Nyx. A number of these were around the solstices and brought in lessons about the wildness of nature and very much met through ritual. This podcast is also about ritual on the dark night, and a celebration of the darkness. Most are familiar with fairies at some level. Nyx is perhaps lesser known and is sometimes a term used for water spirits. We’re not discussing those Nyx today though. The Nyx we’re talking about is an ancient deity was the goddess of the night and in coupling with the god of darkness, they gave birth to a golden egg that would become Eros, and the sun and creation.
