So I had this question from David Polack and David said, “Hi this was in the Facebook group, I seem to remember James discussing a process to upload the addresses of our customers from Amazon Seller Central to a service that will mail out a postcard via United States Postal Service, does anyone do this and which tool do you use? Do you send the addresses to the tool each day for that day sales or once a week or what?” And then finally David asks, “Is it true that it is against Amazon’s terms of service to seeing correspondence to a customer outside Amazon's platform?” Amazon does not specifically cover physical mail to your customers or sending post cards to your customers but this is a part of the TOS that covers your communication with your customers and part of this says attempts to divert transactions or buyers any attempt to circumvent the established Amazon.com sales process or to divert Amazon.com users to another website or sales process is prohibited. |
