Description:
Like most riders on any given day John Spencer and his wife Lindy headed out out for a ride aboard John's recently purchased Chrome Head (BMW's C-Machine). Less that 50 miles into their trip to the Queen Whilimena State Lodge where a room and hot tub await the machine started to violent fishtail quickly advancing to a full blown tank slapper and down the went. John will share with us what caused the pucker factor of 10 on 5 scale and what measures we all can take to make certain it doesn't happen to us. Imre and Chaz will be talking about Motorcycle Awareness! Most commonly associated with Motorcycle Awareness Month in May, the guys wanted to get the motorcycling community thinking about it now. Making sure that other motorists see us is a key to safety. We can do many things that will get people to start looking for us out on the roads. The other part of being "seen" is from the legislative point of view. We need to make sure that our state and federal legislatures know that we are out there too. Join us to discuss this important educational campaign! DownTag has only one goal, to keep riders safe. Using the latest technology along with a laser engrave medallion the size of the well know military dog tag DownTag enables riders to be secure knowing their critical medical information and emergency contacts are available to medical personnel during the most important Golden Hour. Not only does Downtag offer a 24 hour a day manned emergency call center that will only release your information to emergency centers with a secure protocol they also offer GPS tracking and trip planning available to their subscribers. Shane Hill will join us with more information of what Downtag can do so all riders and their families at home can feel as secure knowing that during the unexpected time of need there is a group that has their back! In this day of electronic navigation that willl get you from point A to B Tom"ll tell you it's nice to have a map that you and fellow riders can have a cup of joe and plan that day's ride. After a a 9,200 mile 42 day moto trip across thew states Dennis Munden realized there wasn't a source readily available to find Mom & Pop owned services from eateries to lodging that cater to motorcyclist with a friendly smile. "Motorcycle Maps" maps do just that with an ever expanding library of maps that every rider can use and at a very reasonable price, Dennis will be letting us in on what Motorcycle maps has to offer in their unique way! Check this out they are hiring riders just like us to find and document those businesses. Tim Keel from Two Brother's Tires is back talking moto tires or tyres depending where you listen from. has a new model of the Pilot Road the III, Metzler, and Perilli don't stand by they have new models too that Tim will talking too.
