Hey there sister and welcome back to the Sexyfit Podcast Our brains don’t just flip a switch from role to role; there is a time in between that needs to be taken to get us to our next role comfortably. Our Inner Amazon Woman If you are lady that hustles and slays then you are totally familiar with your inner Amazon woman. She lives inside of you and slays life and get stuff done at work. Let’s show some gratitude to our Amazon woman for keeping us motivated and on the track at work and business, but let’s keep her in our work life and boot her out of our personal and intimate lives #byefelicia. We can’t always be in our masculine energy, and Amazon women can’t be our permanent persona, its just not practical or fun. Would you like to channel your amazon woman on a date? Probably not, you want to feel flirty and playful and not like you are wearing the pants. Simply, the amazon woman needs to take a break. Transition Time: So how do transition from amazon woman to flirty vixen? You don’t want to show up as a lovelier version of man. You need to give yourself a little time to transition from one role to another. This time is beyond important sister. It is the same reason that you husband seems to ignore you as soon as he gets home from work. He isn’t really ignoring you, at least not purposefully; he is transitioning from work mode to hubby mode in the same way you can transition from amazon woman to wife. Rituals: I know I say this a lot but seriously, rituals are essential to transitioning from one role to another. Showers, essential oils, jamming out to Shakira, or whatever it is that you need to do to change your state of mind are important to change how you feel. When we transition we can sometimes overlook how it is we want to feel or we just try to get ourselves to feel a certain way in an instant. That usually never works, and it’s such a frustrating feeling to think “why aren’t I relaxed?!”. You don’t really get there without easing into the mood and rituals make that transition much easier. Since it’s Friday, it is a great opportunity to put this into practice and take some transition time after leaving the office to transition to weekend mode. For me, its journaling and a nice shower. I bet you that honoring that transition time will help you create balance while you move from one energy to another.
