Dr. John Fourkas's research interests include applications of lasers in micro- and nanotechnology, microscopy, and high-density data storage. A current major focus is the use of lasers to fabricate three-dimensional micromachines. Professor Fourkas has published more than 100 papers and has co-edited three books. He is a Senior Editor of the 'Journal of Physical Chemistry'.
