	Description:		The International Criminal Court has convicted Sudanese militia commander Ali Muhammad Ali Abd-Al-Rahman of war crimes and crimes against humanity for leading attacks in Darfur over 20 years ago. The conviction marks the ICC's first conviction for atrocities in the Darfur conflict which killed an estimated 300,000 people and forcibly displaced around 2.7 million.
