Avasa and Matty first met in 2008 when Avasa was working as a waitress at Cafe Gratitude and two years later, in 2010, they got married and released their first EP, “Love is King, Loving is Queen.” They are currently working on their upcoming album, “The Road,” due to be released in December 2013. In this episode, we discuss Avasa and Matty’s meditation and spiritual paths that inspire their music. Avasa and Matty describe their diverse musical influences, ranging from Beethoven to India Arie.
