Description: Receiving God's gift of grace is both free, AND comes with a cost. It's free because there's no way we can earn salvation, it's His free gift through Christ. But then, after we receive the free gift, the cost of living for Him means dying to our own desires, and seeking out His plan and will for our lives. When we're not being effective in living our our faith, that's called being lukewarm (saying one thing and doing another), which gives a bad taste of Christianity to the world.
