But knowing He loves us is never an excuse to lose our sense of awe and respect for the mighty, holy Lord of the universe. If we don't obey His direction and we harden our hearts towards Him, then like a coach who takes a player out of the game when they fail to follow direction, God won't hesitate to take us out.
