Scott Strode, an accomplished tri-athlete, mountaineer, ice climber, outdoorsman, and recovering alcoholic, is the Founder and National Executive Director of a nonprofit, Phoenix Multisport.
Phoenix Multisport (“Phoenix”) has offered a unique approach to combat substance use disorder by fostering a supportive, physically active community for individuals in recovery and those who choose to live a sober life.
Phoenix is based on Scott’s own experience in discovering the transformative effect that a healthy, active lifestyle can have on long-term sobriety.
Scott used athletics and the outdoors to get sober nearly two decades ago and today Phoenix Multisport to helps others achieve the same thing.
