You need t a deep cake tray
200 g butter
200 g soft brownsugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
3 grounded tablespoons greek yoghurt
50 g chopped pecans
Mix the above to pouring consistency and bake at 175ºC, 325ºF, Gas 3 for 25 minutes.
Leave in the tin to cool
To make the icing
45 g butter
3 tablespoons Milk 50 g soft brown sugar
100 g icing sugar
30 g whole pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla
Allow the sugar to dissolve in the milk
Turn the heat up to medium and bubble it for a minute
Remove from the heat and add the other ingredients except the pecans
Add to the cake topping and then add the pecans |
