Description: Much like our sherry trifle recipe, with more forest! Make a chocolate sponge 100 g 100 g caster sugar 1 egg 80 g self raising flour 20 g cocoa powder Bake for 20 - 25 mins Make a custard, Add 100 g dark chocolate chips and stir well. 300 g can of black cherries in their own juice. 5 tbsp kirsch or cherry brandy. Add the sponge to the dish Sprinkle with the liquids. Spoon the custard over the cherries. Then cover with 350 ml whisked double cream. Lots of dark chocolate on the top!
