Description: The archetypal English custard dessert You need: 400 ml can evaporated milk 3 fresh medium eggs 2 tablespoons of soft brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract A little grated nutmeg Whisk the eggs into the milk and vanilla Pour into ramekins in hot water Grate the nutmeg on the top Bake at 160 Fan, 170 C Gas 3 325 F for 45 minutes
